Pembina Curling Club – Club Manager Position

The Club Manager is the face of the curling club and is responsible for all business operations associated to the club including Finance, Scheduling,
and Facilities Operations.

– Banking, Money and Fees Collection, and Paying bills using QuickBooks
– Creating Budget and completing and reporting Financial Statements
– All matters concerning paying wages/salaries to employees including CRA
– Financial Forecasting

– Creating and maintaining schedules for all leagues and Events hosted at club
– Liaison with people and groups associated to the business and operations of Curling

Facilities Operations:
– Administer all tasks associated to bar operations including hiring, scheduling, payroll, liquor purchase and inventory
– Administer some aspects and tasks associated to kitchen operations
– Cleaning and maintenance administration
– Security
– Facility Planning
– Advertising / Marketing
– Executive Meeting administration
– Communications
– Attending events hosted by the club
– Other duties as assigned by the Board / Executive

Education, Skills: Preferred that employee hold a Degree in Finance / Business, savvy in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel), previous work experience that involved supervisory or management tasks

Employment Term: Full-time but Seasonal, August 15, 2020 – May 15, 2021
Salary negotiable based on Education, Skill, Work Experience
