PCC Golf Tournament

Join us at Scotswood Links on May 31st for our annual PCC Golf Tournament!

For $180 per player ($720 per team of 4) you get a bus ride to the course, golf cart, beverages, lunch, and dinner!

Entry is limited so register fast!

Bus Info

Please arrive at the Pembina Curling Club between 8:00am and 9:30am for check in and bus assignment.

We will have coffee, a light breakfast, and games to play for a chance to win some mulligans before we get on the bus.

The first 3 teams to check in will start the day 1 under par!

The bus will leave the PCC and head to the Scotswood Links at 10:00am!

Please let us know the names of all 4 players on your team.
If you would like to play before or after a specific team, please let us know in your email!

Rules

Texas Scramble (Best Ball)

2 Drives are required from everyone if your group (3 if you’re in a 3-some)

3-somes will always get 4 tries (rotate a player every hole to determine who gets 2 shots)

Putts for Okie

Our putting contest will be held in memory of our past president, honorary life member, and friend, Neil Okumura.

It will be located on the practice green as your team passes the 18th hole.
You will start with 3 free balls and after that, $5 gets you 1 more ball, and $10 for 3 more balls.
Your best 3 shots count toward winning a brand new golf bag donated by Dr. Daniel Birchard at Norberry Dental Centre!

All profits from the putting contest will be donated to Cancer Care Manitoba.

Fun Challenges

One-club challenge (hole to be assigned)

Player alternate shot (on a Par 5 – hole to be assigned)

Gimme String

Each team will receive four Gimmie Strings of varying lengths (6″, 14″, 22″, 30″). If your ball is close
enough to the hole you may use one of these strings as a free stroke. Each string can only be used
once for a total of 4 free strokes, so be strategic!

Each team starts with one free Gimmie String pack. One additional Gimme String pack can be purchased for $20.

On-Course Competitions

Men’s and Ladies’ Longest Drive

Men’s/Ladies’ Closest to the Hole (Par 3 holes to be assigned)

Lunch and Dinner

For lunch, every golfer will get a burger, and a beer!

Dinner will be a plated meal, salad, and side followed by dessert!
